SR-170BLM
Boundary layer condenser microphone — for flush surface-mount pickup.
The SR-170BLM is a boundary layer (PZM-style) microphone that mounts flush against a table, floor or wall to capture reflected sound across a wide area with minimal comb filtering. A three-core capacitive capsule delivers a full 20 Hz–20 kHz response and a supercardioid pattern, while 149 dB maximum SPL and 140 dB dynamic range give ample headroom. Balanced XLR output and flexible 1.5–48V powering suit permanent installs.

Features
01
Boundary layer design
Flush surface mounting captures reflected sound across a wide area while minimising comb filtering.
02
Three-core capacitive
A condenser electret capsule gives a wide 20 Hz–20 kHz response with a focused supercardioid pattern.
03
High SPL headroom
149 dB maximum SPL and a 140 dB dynamic range handle loud, close sources cleanly.
04
Flexible powering
Standard 48V phantom, or a 1.5–48V adapter, with balanced XLR output for easy integration.
